(Baltimore) – The Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency today announced January 2013 revenue numbers for the state’s three casinos — Hollywood Casino Perryville in Cecil County, Casino at Ocean Downs in Worcester County and Maryland Live Casino in Anne Arundel County. January 2013’s combined statewide revenue totaled $44,327,786.91.
Hollywood Casino Perryville generated $5,455,111.17 in January, and its gross gaming revenue per machine per day was $117.31 for the month. In a year-to-year comparison, Hollywood Casino’s January 2013 revenue decreased by $4,335,230.70 or 44.28% from January 2012. Hollywood Casino Perryville operates approximately 1,500 machines.
The Casino at Ocean Downs generated $2,928,919.55 in January, and its gross gaming revenue per machine per day was $118.10. The Casino at Ocean Downs’ January 2013 revenue decreased by $204,290.25 or 6.52% from January 2012. The Casino at Ocean Downs operates 800 machines.
Maryland Live Casino generated $35,943,756.19 in January, and its gross gaming revenue was $244.10 per day per machine. Maryland Live operates approximately 4,750 machines.
In a year-to-year comparison — excluding Maryland Live, which opened in June 2012 – January 2013 casino revenue decreased from January 2012 by $4,539,520.95 or 35.13%.
The Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Commission is responsible for all matters relating to regulation of the state’s casinos. In this regulatory role, the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency (LGCA) oversees all internal controls, auditing, security, surveillance, background investigation, licensing and accounting procedures for the facilities. To keep Marylanders informed and maintain integrity and transparency in its regulation of the state’s casinos, the LGCA posts monthly financial reports on casino revenue on its website, slots.mdlottery.com.

Those machines are tighter than a frog’s ass.
That is why no one goes there, not to mention the $6 that OWE MALLEY bangs us for to cross the bridge to go 15 minutes up there.
A good promotion would be a $6 casion voucher if you take the receipt from paying the toll to get there.
Also who gives a crap about a $10 food voucher and $10 in slot play when I personally lost over $1500 up there…………….. that place sucks for comps. that is why I go to Delaware Park.
