From Harford County Public Schools:
C. Milton Wright High School students from Mr. Joe Davis’ Marketing II class just got a lesson they are likely to remember. The class successfully completed the development of two promotional offers for all teachers and HCPS high school students at two Harford County Burger King locations. The class of 30 students spent several weeks working with Dominic Rose, operations manager for Harloe Management Group, which is the owner of eight Burger Kings in Baltimore and Harford counties. Students were tasked with developing two promotions that would increase customer counts at two area Burger Kings. Students researched the current product offerings and promotions for Burger King and compared it to the direct competition. The class collaborated with Mr. Rose to refine the promotional ideas that were developed in class. As a result of the collaboration, a twitter account was established: @BKFountainGreen.
Here is a look at what students and teachers can look forward to. Starting May 6, all HCPS high school students will receive a FREE Medium French Fry or Drink, with no purchase necessary. (Limit one per customer, per day.) This promotion will run until June 11 at two Bel Air Burger Kings located at 2122 N. Fountain Green Road (Rt. 543 and Rt. 22) and 200 S. Fountain Green Road (Hickory). Student ID required. The second promotion is a FREE Medium Coffee for every HCPS teacher, with no purchase necessary. The free cup of coffee (specialty coffee not included) must be redeemed before 10 a.m. Limit one per customer, per day. Employees should present their ID badge. This promotion will be a permanent fixture at both Burger King locations.
