This doesn’t make any sense. I live in Majors Choice and it won’t affect me too much but what about the people who live on Moores Mill Rd. There is a school in the middle of closing area along with a housing complex and a multiple houses along the road. Another concern is what will they break this time when they are trying to fix the road. The last time they worked over there they ended spending two years to build the new Southampton road.

Agreed, and that whole, “Pardon Our Progress”, crap isn’t going to change the congestion…..

Folks – what this means is that they will set up all the construction signs, close the road, etc. The actual work is probably 1 to 2 months at the most, but someone cut a sweetheart deal with the contractors and they will shift a skeleton crew from job to job around the area so they don’t have to devote more people (cost) to any one project. They will stretch out this and half dozen other road projects to give this one company work for one year. Great news for the winning contractor and their 6 employees, not so good for those of us who pay for this and live in the communities twisted by road closures.

So typical when you have a county that is growing faster in population coming from Baltimore County & Baltimore City than the county can handle.
