From the Harford County Sheriff’s Office:
The Harford County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to congratulate Jennifer Irani on her graduation, with honors, from the Maryland Police and Correctional Training Academy on May 8, 2013.
Ms. Irani was the first Harford County Detention Center civilian to complete the course at the Sykesville, MD facility since the Commission made changes to the curriculum in July of last year. She was one of twenty-nine individuals, from around the state, who graduated after completing the 10 week academy. This intensive training is the same training every Correctional Officer is required to take in the State of Maryland, and includes both academic and physical training.
Currently Ms. Irani is employed by the Harford County Sheriff’s Office as a Classifications Counselor at the Harford County Detention Center.
Kharn says
Congratulations to Ms Irani.
And when will the next new state corrections academy course be released, with a week dedicated to “Do not sleep with, carry drugs for, associate with, or befriend inmates” in light of the current scandal down in Baltimore?
