A picture is worth a thousand words. Come on BAPD, everyone knows every bank in the US has cameras!
Soul Crusher says
Yet, the pictures I’ve seen generated from these cameras seem to look like the pictures I used to take 10 years ago with the first generation of digital cameras. You would think that these financial institutions could afford better cameras for all the bank fees I get charged!
bam says
Bet he has a New Kids on the Block CD in the getaway car.

When? says
When will one of these bank robberies be solved? It seems like every bank in Harford County has been robbed in the past six months and not one has been solved. Why?
Joe says
Because the police officers are too busy giving people tickets for not wearing seat belts.
Ed says
Exactly Joe, catching bank robbers does not bring in revenue, tickets do.
OHwiseOne says
Ha……..Happened the same time my son got a ticket for speeding,,,go figure…..LOL
Mr. Moderate says
I’m truly amazed that so many Dagger Posters seem always to resort to taxes or politics in their
comments. Tax revenues pay for the police to enforce laws, purchase speed cameras from private vendors and have them repaired, erect and staff prisons, build the roads, maintain bridges, plow snow from the roads, etc., etc. Don’t want a ticket–Don’t speed. Don’t want banks robbed–Don’t insist that public safety budgets be cut. I’m surprised no one suggested Governor
O’Malley gave the robber a map to locate the bank and plot his getaway.
B says
How exactly would higher taxes keep someone from robbing a bank.

I wonder if he lives in Edgewood?
Edgewood says
I’m sure he does. Don’t you know only criminals live in Edgewood. There are no drug dealers or drug users anywhere else.

On the beach perhaps?

First, a police officer reaps no monetary benefit for the revenue a ticket generates. I’ve written countless and I still haven’t gotten my check in the mail. Second, a freakin grainy camera image is nothing more than a face to your proverbial needle in a hay stack. I encourage individuals who think they can do better by all means, enlist in your local police department. He’ll get caught, they all do. Just because you don’t hear about doesnt mean no actions have been taken.
OHwiseOne says
Yeah , just what I’ve always wanted to do ,,join the police force..So I can ticket people for all kinds of things like, California stops,Run Stop signs in neighborhoods like they arent even there, Speed thru neighborhoods .. Ride a motorcycle without a helmet… and do all these things when and how I want.. All these things that we get ticketed on , are the very same things most of the “self richious police officers do” Must be nice to be “superior” and entitled to common folk…Naaah,, I joined the Army and made a career of Making a Difference ,,not a mockery of a system… worst thing,,,,,I see this Sh– , every day…One last tidBit… Why is it?, the same places get robbed all the time… ???..Vigelance is virtue???
Mad at everything says
If you’re insinuating that my 10 year career in law enforcement and every other man and woman in law enforcement has been a mockery then I have an idea
for you: don’t call 911 when you are in trouble! It’s people like you that perpetuate animosity with the police and the public. Nobody wakes up, puts on the uniform and says “I’m gonna make someone have a bad day.” People get tickets for running stop signs and the like so people like you and your children don’t get injured or killed. If you see an officer commit a violation then report it. So am I to believe all the negative things I hear about and all the negetiive actions of members of our great military I’ve witnessed is indicitive to every member of the military? Don’t get too light headed up on that high horse of yours, take a look at you and your battle buddies before you pass judgement.
OHwiseOne says
Not judgement… FacT.. . Oh , And (how the cops say?),,”have a nice day” ;0)
RTFU says
No, not really. After 20 years in the Army – in a Combat Arms MOS, and then another 15 following retirement in civilian law enforcement, your statements above are nothing but generic stereotypes against law enforcement. Judging by your lack of a basic understanding of the English language, like spelling, it is obvious that you are not one of the brightest. Since you are in this area, one can make an assumption (as you have above) that you are probably some type of mechanic who sits in the rear, works 9-5, and knows nothing of how the real world works.
Your post discredits you greatly, and puts you squarely in the group of “idiot” soldiers who speak out about anything that you THINK is unjust and try to play it off as fact. If you have not presented anything factual, an evidence to prove such, it makes it nothing but an opinion…and opinions are like a55holes.
Everything you listed is a crime, and police merely enforce those crimes. If you have a problem with the criminal code, bring it up to your elected officials.
As for your “making a difference”, well, very few MOSs can say that they do – and in this State, I doubt you are in that series – and based of your language, I’ll bet not a grade over Specialist…probably in a desk job that permits you to troll news sites all day and make yourself look like an uneducated imbecile in the process. Make a difference, go back to school.
Soul Crusher says
RTFU, if you and your fellow law enforcement in Harford County could start telling the truth regarding facts about cases instead of what you want the facts to be, then maybe you’d get more respect from the public. LAW ENFORCEMENT IN HARFORD COUNTY is UNABLE to divulge the truth, The State’s Attorney Office knowingly and willingly prosecute the lies of the corrupt Law Enforcement and then the Judges knowingly and willingly force you to take a conviction based on the fabrications of you assholes. The Harford County legal process is a joke and integrity among the officers is non existent. If you are a Harford County Law Enforcement Officer, you are nothing more than a liar. If you are a Assistant or the State’s Attorney of Harford County you are nothing more than a criminal who extorts the freedom of citizens, just so you can get your conviction based on the lies of the philanderers of the Harford County Law Enforcement. If you are a Judge in Harford County, you are nothing more than a criminal, who in a concerted effort with Law Enforcement and the State’s Attorney Office, act to suppress the rights of the citizens of this county. I know, your going to thumbs down me to try and hide my comments but you punks know I’m telling the truth. The whole system is a sham in Harford County, because no one in law remembers what the Constitution is. Yeah, its that piece of paper your suppose to uphold, yet all you guys do with it is wipe your ass with it. Straight up GFY, you bunch of pricks…..
duganz says
if the citizens of Maryland were legally allowed to protect themselves from the scum that you (the police) are supposed to stop, we would have no need for 911 except for cleanup. Don’t kid yourself, citizens don’t want to call the police that would rather ticket the victim for something frivolous instead of catching the criminal.
Mad at everything says
@rtfu you have nothing but my respect sir. We fight the same fight, just a different theater. Thanks for the back up, jackasses like that serve to embarass. I do my best to make sure the public is safe and it’s apparent you do the same for our country with dignity.
OHwiseOne says

Fact : Complaint after complaint of speeding , running stop signs and texting while driving, from serveral sources…. wasn’t enough to take a woman off the road before she could ‘KILL” herself, leaving her young family motherless… Oh,,, and your a fine one to knock “trolling”,,,, ouch,,,sorry about that,,, And your absolutly right,,, I need to get “spell check” on here,, ..”Soul Cusher” has the situation pegged, however I only pray the system isnt as bad as he or she states… Good Cop,,Bad Cop,,, both a reality,, just can’t stand to hear of allllllll,,the hard work and dedication to service and yet the opposite is in my face every day….(still trying to figure out how a cop can come up with 53 in a 30mph zone,,,,in approximatly 1/10 of a mile judgement time…. without radar,,,,now THATs some serious calculations eh???? “Have a Nice Day”
