From the Maryland State Police:
(Belcamp, MD) Troopers from the Maryland State Police JFK Highway Barrack responded to the area of northbound Interstate 95 at Exit 80 at 7:50 a.m., regarding a fatal motor vehicle collision.
The preliminary investigation revealed that a 2006 Sterling box truck, driven by Terrell Allbrook, 21 of Baltimore, MD was traveling southbound Interstate 95 in the area of Exit 80 when the operator lost control for unknown reasons. Allbrook was traveling with a female passenger identified as Shawna Beckett, 25 of Baltimore, MD. Beckett was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma by state police aviation for treatment of her injuries.
Allbrook was pronounced deceased at the scene by medical personnel.
Multiple lanes of Interstate 95 northbound and southbound were closed for approximately two hours while Troopers from the Maryland State Police investigated the collision.
The collision is being investigated by TPR Sander IBM 5948 of the JFK Highway Barrack.
