From the Harford County Public Library:
Harford County Public Library (HCPL) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dwayne R. Adams, Nancy A. Brown, and Rebecca S. Robinson to five-year terms as Trustees for the Harford County Public Library Board.
Dwayne R. Adams is a financial business manager with the Baltimore City Public School System involved with management and planning and has a B.S. degree in Finance from Seton Hall University. He is working on a Masters of Public Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University (Fall 2014) and is Basileu of the Iota Nu Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.
Rebecca S. Robinson is a Program Analyst for the Department of the Army and is pursuing a Masters in Public Administration.
Nancy A. Brown, B.S., is a Case Manager for the Arc of Baltimore and serves with the Children’s Ministry at Mountain Christian Church.
Also joining the Library Board of Trustees as Student Liaison Representative is Monica Attia. She is a student at Edgewood High School and a member of the National Honor Society, French Honor Society, Science Club, Student Government Association and is involved in the International Baccalaureate program. The student liaison representative position is open to high school seniors who serve for one year.
“We are fortunate to have these new members join our Board of Trustees,” said Library Director Mary Hastler. “I know this group of passionate community leaders will be integral to our mission and commitment to providing excellent public library services in Harford County.”
