From the Harford County Sheriff’s Office:
Two suspects arrested for burglary last month are now facing charges for three additional burglaries that have occurred since May.. Originally charged on July 10th with a burglary in the 1400 block of Falls Crest Drive in Fallston, Joseph H. Wright, 32 of Forest Hill and Krystal M. Derlunas, 29, of Joppa have now been charged with burglaries that occurred in the 1600 block of Steeplechase Drive, Jarrettsville on July 3rd, the 2800 block of Baldwin Mill Road in Baldwin on June 24th, and the 3200 block of Clay Court also in Jarrettsville on May 19th.
As noted in the original release, using surveillance, detectives placed Wright and Derlunas in the area of a burglary on Falls Crest Drive. Residents in the area provided descriptions of Wright and his vehicle. They further stated that the male suspect would approach the residence with a leash in his hand asking if they had seen his lost dog. Derlunas would wait in the car while Wright approached the houses. Both suspects were taken into custody in the area of Harford and Fork Roads in Baltimore County. At the time police believed the suspects were involved in other cases in the Fallston/Jarrettsvile area.
Subsequent investigation led to the recovery of stolen property and identifying their involvement in the above listed burglaries. They each have now been charged with burglary, theft and malicious destruction of property. At the time of this release Wright continues to be held without bail at the Harford County Detention Center while Derlunas remains incarcerated under $75,000 bond.
