Bel Air Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce that the 48th annual Bel Air Festival for the Arts will be held Sunday, September 15th from 10 am until 5 pm behind the Bel Air Town Hall on Hickory Avenue. Everyone can enjoy 350 booths of fine art, photography and crafts displayed at the event. The festival is the largest single fundraiser for Parks and Recreation. Proceeds from the festival benefit many of the programs enjoyed by Harford County residents of all ages.
The Bel Air Festival for the Arts features live entertainment on the Band Shell stage and roving entertainer, Michael Horne. The line-up for this year’s entertainment includes:
9:00am – Harford Ballet Company
10:00am – Big Bertha’s Rhythm Kings
11:00am – Members of Applause
11:30am – Sounding Brass
12:30pm – Ryan-Kilcoyne School of Irish Dance
1:30pm – Upper Chesapeake Chorus
2:25pm – Chuck Baker Orchestra
3:25pm – Silver Eagle Cloggers
4:05pm – Bel Air Community Band
FREE shuttle bus service will run continuously from 9:30 am until 5:30 pm. Festival-goers will have transportation from the MVA parking lot on Route 24 to the festival site and back. All-day parking will be available at the Bel Air Parking Garage on Hickory Avenue, two blocks from the festival, for a $2.00 donation to the Bel Air Police Auxilliary.

The festival for the arts is on Sunday the 15th, after Yom Kippur is over. If it conflicts with anything it will be mass at St Margaret’s across the street.
