From Collector’s Corner:
(Sept. 24, 2013) Collectors Corner, “The Coolest Store in Baltimore!” since 2001, is proud to announce it will open a second location in Bel Air to serve Harford County’s fans of comic books, games, toys, and collectibles of all types!
The new store will be located at 17 N. Main Street in Bel Air’s thriving downtown business district, and joins the original Collectors Corner location at 7911 Harford Road in Parkville. A spectacular Grand Opening celebration is in the works for Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014.
“We look forward to bringing some ‘Cool’ to Bel Air and providing Harford County with a place to hang out and participate in the culture of comic books,” said store owner Randy Myers.
Rapidly growing over the last few years, Collectors Corner is the home for new & used comic books, graphic novels, vintage video games, board games, DVDs, vintage toys and much more! In addition to regular customer appreciation and holiday discounts, sidewalk sales and other promotions, the store offers the area’s biggest everyday selection of $1 back issues.
This May, Collectors Corner’s Parkville location hosted more than 5,000 customers for Free Comic Book Day, an event which included comic artist sketches, creator signings, and appearances by costumed superheroes. That same month, the store launched its inaugural Collectors Con MD, a day-long comic book convention; another installment is planned for Nov. 23 at Tall Cedars Hall on Putty Hill Ave in Perry Hall, MD.
Collectors Corner is among the world’s best comic book retailers, having been a finalist this year for the Eisner Spirit of Retailing Award, recognizing stores which do an outstanding job of promoting the comic art medium in their community and across the comic book industry. The store is a frequent contributor to charities, and has provided comic books to area fundraisers as well as Baltimore City Public Libraries and troops overseas.

The Parkville store is quite popular and family friendly. This will be a welcome addition to Main Street Bel Air.
