From the Aberdeen Police Department:
[October 10, 2013- Aberdeen MD] At about 8:50 PM last night officers responded to the first block of North Post Road to investigate a reported armed robbery. Investigation revealed two black males confronted a resident in the alley near his home. One of the males displayed a handgun the other displayed a knife and announced a robbery. The two fled the area after receiving some property from the victim. The victim was able to observe the suspects as they entered an apartment on Roosevelt Ave. Officers were able to make contact at the apartment and subsequently arrested two subjects for the robbery.
Daniel R Gilbert, 38, of the 200 block of East Bel Air Ave. Aberdeen and Jumal R Dudley, 40, of the 2100 block Williams Street, Havre De Grace have been charged with Robbery, Assault and Theft. The two are being held at the Harford County Detention Center. A replica handgun and knife were recovered during the investigation. The victim, a 34-year-old man from Aberdeen was not injured in the incident.

Why are they even on the streets? How many times must one be arrested for domestic violence and assault before they just keep them locked up?

If only Maryland’s awesome new gun laws were in effect earlier, I’m sure those thugs would have NEVER had a chance to get their hands on a gun! Thank goodness we’ll not be hearing of stories like this from here on out. It’s gonna be unicorns, lollipops and cotton candy for everyone!….and some Cool-Aid.
