From the Harford County Sheriff’s Office:
On Tuesday 12/10/2013 at 11:39 p.m. deputies responded to 510 Crownwood Ct. in Edgewood, for a report of a robbery in progress.
Deputies were advised the robbery had occurred near the basketball court behind the Mystik Mart, 1713 Hanson Rd. Edgewood. Deputies made contact with the three victims, a 20-year-old male, a 19-year-old male and a 16-year-old female, on Crownwood Ct. They told deputies the three of them were walking across the basketball court to the rear of the Mystik Mart when they observed two masked men that were crouched down in the wooded area adjacent to the basketball court. After passing by them the subjects approached them. One of the subjects displayed two guns and the other subject displayed a knife. The victims were ordered to get on the ground. Once they were on the ground, the suspects went through the victim’s pockets taking their cash, wallets and cell phones. The suspects fled the scene toward the Mystik Mart. The victims were not injured.
Suspect #1 is a black male, 6-feet, 3-inches tall, wearing a black ski mask, black hooded sweatshirt, and black jeans. He was armed with two handguns.
Suspect #2 is a black male, 6-feet, 3-inches tall, wearing a black ski mask, black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, and black gloves. He was armed with a knife.
So, the thugs get to carry weapons and use them to threaten citizens, but law-abiding citizens can’t in turn carry a weapon to protect themselves…..gotta love liberals.
