From the Aberdeen Police Department:
The Aberdeen Police Department is currently investigating the armed robbery of Aberdeen Liquors in the 100 block of S. Philadelphia Blvd. which occurred on 3/1/14 at approximately 9:45 A.M. Two suspects entered the store, accosted the cashier and stole currency and cigarettes. Both suspects then fled on foot to the rear of the store and were last seen entering a black SUV, possibly a Lexus or Jeep product with temporary registration, proceeding N/B on Market St.
Suspect #1 is described as a black male, medium to heavyset build, wearing a blue or black knit cap with large white snowflakes. Across the top of his lip and cheeks covering the bottom half of his face was a black ski mask. He wore a winter coat with gray sleeves and a black or dark blue vest containing the letter C in large print on the upper left side of the coat’s exterior. Underneath the jacket was a red hoodie. Suspect #1 displayed a silver semi-automatic handgun.
Suspect #2 is described as a black male wearing a dark blue or black baseball cap with an orange bill, a black ski mask exposing the area around the eyes. He was observed to wear clear lens glasses as well. Suspect #2 wore a blue feather down jacket with blue knit gloves. He too displayed a black handgun. No one was injured during this incident.
