Friday, June 5th, First Fridays supports the Susquehanna Museum’s Pirate Festival weekend June 12-14. Downtown Havre de Grace will be putting the Pirate into the festivities. Enjoy more sales, art, music, food and family fun! During this monthly event visitors will enjoy extended shopping hours from 5-10 pm with lively street performers and special First Friday offers at every participating merchant!
First Friday’s presents face painting featured at Art Rooms 116 N. Washington and crazy balloon hats by NOTHIN’ UP MY SLEEVE ENTERTAINMENT. Franklin Street will come alive with outdoor shopping and antique cars. Along St. John’s and Washington Streets you will be captivated by artist creating their works of art from the evening.
Enjoy making memories with friends as you go from tavern to restaurant for happy hour specials and excellent dining choices. Havre de Grace celebrates the First Friday of each month, bringing together families with a small town atmosphere. Come visit and enjoy the festivities, which run from May through November.
Free entertainment includes live acoustic performances by Fiddle Oaks sponsored by Laurrapin Grille, The Larry Tucker Band, sponsored by Joseph’s Department store, and Coakleys Pub will feature Pig Pickin’ in the garden and the Dave Mark Trio featuring Mark Angelucci.
Outdoor Café seating is being provided at MacGregors Restaurant, Rodger’s Tavern, Coakley’s Pub, Vineyard Wine Bar, Lacucina and Laurrapin Grille. There will be something to enjoy for everyone.
