From SARC:
SARC is asking the community to take up collections during the month of July to restock the safehouse pantry. Businesses, organizations and individuals can make a big difference and turn the safehouse into a safe home by providing everyday needs that have diminished in the pantry by this time of year.
Items most used by SARC’s clients are: canned protein items such as tuna fish, canned chicken, soups; hygiene products such as shampoos and conditioners, packaged razors, deodorant; child and infant items such as diapers, wipes, soaps, lotions, formula, school supplies; linens such as towels, items such as twin mattress covers, blankets, sheets and pillows. For a full list of needs, please visit www.sarcmaryland.org/christmas-in-july/. Having the community’s support gives SARC’s clients the hope they need for their journey.
SARC, a non-profit in Harford County provides hope and resources to victims of domestic violence, sexual violence, child abuse and stalking as they make their journey from victim to survivor. SARC’s clients are working to create a life free from abuse and fear.
