Vehicle Stolen In Baltimore Armed Carjacking Ends Up In Fatal Accident on Hanson Road Later The Same Day
(October 10, 2008, Edgewood, MD) At approximately 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2008, Harford County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a serious motor vehicle accident that occurred in the 1600 block of Hanson Road, directly in front of the Joppa Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company.
The first vehicle, a 2002 Toyota Camry, operated by 19 year old Michael A. Pringle Jr. of Edgewood MD, was traveling east on Hanson Road at a high rate of speed. For unknown reasons, the 2002 Camry crossed the center turn lane and entered the west bound lane, striking head on, the second vehicle, a 2006 Chevrolet Suburban. The Suburban was being driven by Laurie Mause, 31 of Edgewood, MD. Her children, ages 12 and 2 were passengers in the vehicle.
