Darlington Man Charged With Vehicular Manslaughter, DUI/DWI After Triple-Fatal Crash

From Maryland State Police:

(Bel Air, MD) – Charges resulting from a Harford County Grand Jury indictment were served by State Police this morning on a driver involved in a crash last month in which three people were killed.

The accused is identified as Travis N. Gray, 31, of the 3500-block of Day Road, Darlington, Md. He is charged with three counts each of vehicular manslaughter, negligent homicide while under the influence and negligent homicide while impaired. He is charged with one count each of driving while under the influence and driving while impaired.

Gray turned himself in to State Police CRASH Team investigators at 7:00 a.m. today at the Bel Air Barracks. After processing, he was taken to the Harford County Detention Center where he was incarcerated on $250,000 bond.

Police Investigate Thanksgiving Homicide In Edgewood

(Edgewood, MD – November 27, 2009) –Harford County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a homicide that occurred in the 600 block of Yorkshire Drive, Edgewood MD. The victim has been identified as Brandon Jerome Sanders, 25, of Edgewood, MD.

At approximately 7:30am on November 27, 2009, deputies responded to a 911 call in the 600 block of Yorkshire Drive in Edgewood MD, in reference to a body found lying in an open space near the caller’s home. Deputies determined the unidentified male had been shot in the upper torso region of his body. He was verified as deceased at the time of discovery. While canvassing the area, deputies were able to reveal that several neighbors had heard shots fired sometime between 11:00pm and midnight on Thursday evening, yet no calls were placed to 911.

Harford Sheriff’s Office Seeks Information About 2007 Edgewood Homicide

(Edgewood, MD – August 26, 2009) – Sheriff’s Detectives continue their investigation of a homicide which occurred in 2007. On December 31, 2007, at approximately 12:20 a.m., deputies responded to the 1800 block of Grempler Way in Edgewood for a report of an armed subject.

Upon arrival deputies contacted the homeowner who advised there was a subject inside of her residence with a gun. After entering the residence deputies discovered a deceased male, later identified as Tyree Eugene Brown, of Edgewood, suffering from at least one gun shot wound to the upper portion of his body.

Detectives believe the victim’s car, a 2001 Silver Buick with Maryland registration, was taken from the scene by the murderer. The car was later recovered in the area of Hanson Road and Meadowood Drive, Edgewood, MD on January 2, 2008.

Arrest Made In Perryman Homicide

(Bel Air, MD – June 20, 2009) – Donald Donnell Brown Jr, 31 of Baltimore, MD was taken into custody by members of the Maryland State Police Apprehension Team without incident on Masthead Court in Essex MD at approximately 5pm on Friday, June 19, 2009. Brown was then turned over to the Harford County Sheriff’s Office on charges of murder in the second degree, assault in the first degree, reckless endangerment and use of a handgun to commit a crime. Brown was wanted in connection with the murder of Yamar Auntrez Martin that occurred on May 5, 2009 in Aberdeen, MD.

The Harford County Sheriff’s Office released photos this week of the Baltimore man wanted in connection with a May 5 murder in Perryman.

Deputies obtained a warrant on May 17 for Donald Donnell Brown, Jr., 30, in connection with the murder of Yamar Auntrez Martin, 26, of Wing Leaf Court in Edgewood.

On May 5, 2009 at 2:08 a.m. deputies responded for shots fired in the area of Mayberry Drive, Aberdeen, MD. Shortly after their arrival deputies were notified that the State Police were out with a vehicle that had crashed at Route 40 and Revolution Street, Havre De Grace, MD. In the back seat of the vehicle was Yamar Auntrez Martin, 26, of Wing Leaf Court in Edgewood, who had sustained a gunshot wound. Martin was transported to Shock Trauma by the Havre De Grace Ambulance Corps and died shortly after his arrival.

Edgewood Man Killed In Early Morning Perryman Shooting

(Aberdeen, MD – May 5, 2009) –Harford County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating the homicide of a 26 year old man which occurred at approximately 2:10 a.m. today in the area of Perrywood Drive and Perrywood Court, Aberdeen, MD.

At 2:08 a.m. deputies responded for shots fired in the area of Mayberry Drive, Aberdeen, MD. Shortly after their arrival deputies were notified that the State Police were out with a vehicle that had crashed at Route 40 and Revolution Street, Havre De Grace, MD. In the back seat of the vehicle was Yamar Auntrez Martin, 26, of Wing Leaf Court in Edgewood, who had sustained at least two gunshot wounds.

Second Arrest Made In Havre de Grace Homicide Investigation

On October 8, 2008 at 10:55 pm the Havre de Grace Police Department received a call to investigate a report of a person lying in a private yard in the 100 block of Bloomsbury Avenue here in Havre de Grace.

Police located an African American male unresponsive and suffering from a wound to his neck, at that location. Paramedics arrived and the victim was pronounced deceased at 11:06 pm.

Crime Lab Personnel from the Aberdeen Police Department responded to assist in process the scene. A knife has been recovered and is being held for further forensic testing.

The victim has been identified as Christopher Adam Fisher, age 25 of Edgewood, Maryland.

Mr. Fisher died as the result of a homicide.
